The Celtae, plural for Celt in Latin, were among the first Indo-European peoples, who, from the 2nd millennium BC to the 1st
century BC, spread across much of Europe. Their tribes eventually reached from the British Isles and Portugal to as far west as
Transylvania, the coasts of the Black Sea, and Galatia in Anatolia. Their tribes – Britons, Gauls, Boii, Galatians, Celtiberians, and
Lusitanians – were eventually absorbed by the Roman Empire.
OBJECTIVE
In this game, you will lead a Celtic tribe to gather resources (cards) to build and expand citadels or recruit soldiers, construct
fortresses, and set traps to use in battles against Roman invaders. You will have the opportunity to expand your tribe by recruiting
new workers who, as the game progresses, will carry out increasingly powerful actions. At times, you will send workers toward the
Druids' order so that one may return as a powerful Druid. Only by skillfully managing your workers will you be able to lead your
tribe to glory!
